The Viennese Students book appeared in 2016 with Cambridge University Press. The paperback is out since 2019, and still available. The video on the left is an introduction of the cover of the book and the central thesis, a longer interview with Lex Hoogduin about the book can be found here. A crucial theme of the book is the (epistemological) humility in the Austrian tradition, in more recent work I have expanded on this theme and asked whether it can also be fruitful ground for a constructive, emanicaptory program. The theme of emancipation is also at the heart of my reflections on the Lippmann Colloquium after 80 years 'Is there a neoliberal agenda of emancipation'. At the time of release I also wrote a more popular introduction at Medium 'How Viennese Culture Shaped Austrian Economics'.
